Saint Benevolence

Saint Benevolence was founded in 2017 by Dr. Gueillant Dorcinvil, a third-generation sugar cane farmer and clairin producer from Saint Michel de l’Attalaye, Haiti. Made from heirloom sugar cane grown using low-intervention farming methods, its Rum Clairin reflects the vibrant, terroir-driven character of a region considered by many to be the “grand cru” of Haitian rum production.
Dr. Dorcinvil has also served Saint Michel as a pastor, hospital chaplain, mayor, and community leader. Since 2002, he has helped provide medical care, educational services, and more than three million meals throughout the community. In that same spirit of service, a portion of Saint Benevolence’s proceeds supports greater access to cancer screening, prevention, and treatment.
