José Ignacio Maturana with his brother Sebastián and his family decided in 2010 after the great earthquake that affected Chile, to start a passion for the production of wines of exceptional quality, which are unique, that represent a way of life and how to keep intact the conditions of where our grapes come from. MATURANA WINERY is one of the most awarded boutique wineries in Chile this last time, receiving awards such as “Best Wine Project of the Year and the Most Innovative Vineyard of the Year 2017” prize awarded by the circle of gastronomic chroniclers and wine journalists in Chile. Our project born with the purpose of obtaining the best grapes from places that meet their own natural conditions to obtain wines with a unique identity and high quality. Vineyards from places with a strong heritage and peasant family farming focus.
