For many generations, the Grelaud family has owned and exploited the vineyard of Chateau Tenein. Tenein is a small estate located on the southern hills of the Isle Valley 12 miles east of Saint-Emilion in the village of Gours, within the Bordeaux Superieur appellation. The vineyards are planted on siliceous clay hills with a density over 5,000 vines per hectare. Total size of the vineyard is about 15ha or 37 acres.
