Château Bladinières

Château Bladinieres strives to create modern and high quality Cahors wines combining the best typical varietal Malbec and the beautiful land of the region. It was the great-grandfather of Arnaud Bladinières whom planted the first vines of the family farm, which now has 25 hectares. In 1980, Marie-Claire and Serge Bladinières took over the estate. They expanded the vineyard plantation areas and built a winemaking and aging cellar. In 2005, Arnaud Bladinières joined his parents. New cultivation and winemaking methods are being put in place to keep improving the quality of the wines. Located in the Lot valley, the vines are 25 years old. Malbec is planted on 20 hectares of clay-sandy, clay-gravel and gravel soils, Merlot represents 5 hectares of clay-sandy, clay-gravel soils.
