Altavins is a small winery located within the D.O. Terra Alta, a wine-region, with thousands of years of tradition, in the southwest of Catalonia. This region has a history of producing fine wines that are distinguished by their ‘body and soul’ and also by its use of some different varietals, in particular those that are autochthonous to the area.

Our philosophy is simple; Identity, Honesty, Mediterranean Spirit. We take the utmost care when working with the grapes so that we may capture all of their virtues and, with minimum intervention, we harness their potential. What we seek to obtain is excellence in our wines and to extract the essence of this area with them.
