The Orlaya cellar was created in 2016 when Mathilde Roux took over the Gérard Roduit cellar. Today she manages this beautiful 8 ha wine estate. The cellar was created in 1982, and was called Cave Eloi et Gérard Roduit at the time, then in 2003 it became Cave Gérard Roduit et Jean-Marie Arlettaz. The latter, cousin of Gérard, has worked at the cellar since 1986. The duo collaborated for five years until Gérard took over the business on his own in 2008. Finally, in 2016, Mathilde Roux took over the Gérard Roduit cellar and renamed Cave de l’Orlaya.
